Publisher: S. Fischer
Language: German
Tags: fiction, novella, Germany, anarchism, Berlin, naturalism
Description: The Scottish-German John Henry Mackay, who wrote in German, dedicated himself to the cause of gaining sympathetic recognition of man-boy love.

He first gained recognition as a lyric poet and his novellas were early examples of naturalism …

โ€”from https://web.archive.org/web/20110629120245/http://www.glbtq.com/literature/mackay_jh.html

Incidentally, the end of the second novella is rather gruesome and not a little misogynistic, with the narrator dwelling on the detail of the female drowning. Be warned!

Format: PDF
Pages: 127

Mackay, John Henry:
